My work is eclectic. I experiment with materials, methods and themes.
I delight in new discoveries and dwell deep into the mysteries and magic of life.

I was born and raised in Gothenburg, on the West Coast of Sweden.
I studied art in London, Gothenburg, and Kuala Lumpur, lived in England and Jamaica and traveled extensively before settling in Barbados with my family.
As a painter, printmaker, writer, curator, organizer and teacher I have been deeply involved with the vibrant Caribbean Arts Scene for more than five decades.
It has been a fascinating, rewarding and often deeply moving experience,
which has taught me, that there are deeper and higher levels of being,
which unite us, connect us and move us forward;
a deeper rhythm, which prevails through the superficial divisions of race, class, age, gender and nationality.
My work is a result of this blend of cultures and insights, as shown in
"STEN- Comin' True" a Videoportrait by Errol Brewster.
